Jo Ann Anderson obituary
Mrs. Jo Ann Anderson, age 77, of LaVergne, TN passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018. She was born in Rutherford County, TN to the late Hardy F. and Allie Mae Merritt Fann. Mrs. Anderson was a faithful member of Jefferson Pike Church of Christ. She was a loving wife and mother to her family. Mrs. Anderson was easy going and happy which made an impression on the people she met. She enjoyed traveling and shopping every chance she got. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by her four children, Beverly Gourlay and her husband Ian of Hillsboro, TN, Joe Anderson, Jr. and his wife Stephanie of LaVergne, Lori Hughes and her husband Dale of Douglasville, GA, and Diane Crosier and husband Steve of Franklin, TN; six grandchildren, Jonathan Anderson, Sara Lewis, Katy Gish, Hunter Anderson, Hayley Crosier, Brooks Crosier; three great-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Raegan, and Rhiannon; three siblings, Alford Fann and his wife Dorris, Helen Tillman, and Davis Fann; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Anderson, and a brother, John Fann.
The family would like to thank Alive Hospice for their compassionate care. Memorials may be made to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson St, Nashville, TN 37203 in memory of Mrs. Anderson.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Jefferson Pike Church of Christ in LaVergne. A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 6:00pm at Jefferson Pike Church of Christ in LaVergne.
