Joey Arrow obituary

Joey Arrow, age 75 of Smyrna, died Thursday, November 22, 2018. He was a native of Philadelphia, PA and a son of the late Brown Begley and Jean Arrowwood Begley.

Survivors include a son, Joey Begley and his wife Brandi of Smyrna; a sister, Mary Jean Perry and her husband Roy of Nashville; a brother, Jasper Thomas Begley and his wife Deniece of Hendersonville; granddaughters, Mary Elizabeth and Olivia Rose Begley; former wife and mother of his son, Carole Jean Begley; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Joey was a United States Army Veteran and an accomplished touring musician who was proud he taught himself to play eleven different musical instruments. During his career, he recorded two Christian Blues albums and toured Canada in the 70’s with Donna Fargo.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 12:00 noon until the time of memorial services starting at 1:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Judge Michael Begley officiating.
