John Maynard Obituary

Mr. John “Wesley” Maynard, Sr., age 43, of Woodbury, TN passed away Monday, November 20, 2023. He was born in Murfreesboro, TN to Jesse James Lee Maynard and Alta Patricia Bowen. Wesley worked in construction doing everything from woodworking to HVAC. He enjoyed fishing for whatever he could catch on Percy Priest Lake.

Wesley is survived by his mother, Patricia Bowen; son, John Wesley Maynard, Jr.; siblings, Mary Carlton (Jerry), Phillip Maynard (Donna Sweeten), and David Maynard; and nieces and nephews, Wayne Carlton, Bradley Carton, Blake Carlton, Nicole Maynard, Jonathan Maynard, Cody Maynard, Dalton Maynard, James Maynard, and Jesse Maynard. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse James Lee Maynard.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
