Jonas Marshall Earns Nashville Philharmonic’s Top Honor

Siegel High School’s Jonas Marshall is the 2026 Composition Competition Grand Prize Winner for the Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra. His original work, Solace Oriental, will be premiered at two of their concerts, March 1 and 3. Marshall began studying piano at age six and later expanded his musical pursuits to saxophone, voice, and percussion. Through his involvement in band, choir, jazz, and musical theatre at Siegel High School, he continues to refine his compositional voice, striving to create music that engages both performers and audiences.
