Kiwanis Club of Murfreesboro Installs 2025-2026 Officers and Honors Kiwanian of the Year

The Kiwanis Club of Murfreesboro inducted their 2025-2026 officers and recognized their 2025 Kiwanian of the Year at their weekly meeting at The Warehouse this week.
Broker/Owner of Southern Tradition Realty, Angie Morris, was recognized as Kiwanian of the Year as voted on by her peers. This honor is awarded to the volunteer who puts forward extra efforts to help the club succeed in its mission of serving the children of our community.
Mike Eyster (retired) was sworn in as president. Angie Morris will serve as vice president. Rita Shacklett (retired) will continue to serve as the club’s secretary. Pamela Mays (retired) and Tim Westergard (Republic Bank), will continue as club treasurers. Elizabeth Smith (TN Voices), will remain on the board as immediate past president.
2025-2026 board members include, Steve Fuchcar (Jobe Hastings & Associates), Emily Arnold (Emily’s Interior Landscaping), Cutter Eberhart (Millar Rich), Ginger Arrington (Retired), Aaron Hall (Division of TennCare- Attorney) and Carol Wisdom (retired).
Kiwanis’ focus has been on serving the children of our community since it’s charter in 1921. The club partners with numerous non-profits in our area and prides itself on the outstanding Key Club’s in area high schools which they sponsor.
Kiwanis meets every Wednesday at 11:45 at The Warehouse, 730 Middle Tennessee Blvd., Ste. The club is open for new members and welcomes guests.
