Kiwanis Club Pledges $25,000 to Children’s Home

The Kiwanis Club of Murfreesboro presented a $10,000 check to the Good Shepherd Children’s home Monday night as part of a $25,000 pledge through 2026.

Kiwanis has hosted a Christmas party for the children and their staff for the past 49 years. Kiwanians wanted to do something extra special in honor of the long standing relationship going into their fifth decade of service with the group.

“The Good Shepherd Christmas party is always the highlight of my year,” Kiwanis President Becky Lanham said. “Being able to pledge this amount to them this year was just the icing on the cake.”
