Lady Stars Finish Season Undefeated in District Play

Mary Bradley didn’t allow a single run against Rockvale , throwing a complete game shutout and leading Siegel to a 7-0 victory on Thursday. Bradley also eclipsed 200 strikeouts on the year.

Siegel got things started in the first inning when Emilee Hawkes doubled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

The Lady Stars notched three runs in the sixth inning. Claire Czajkowski, Hawkes, and Rilie Maupin each had RBIs in the frame.

One bright spot for Rockvale was a single by Mallory Williams in the third inning.

Bradley got the win for Siegel. The ace surrendered zero runs on one hit over seven innings, striking out 11 and walking zero.

Williams took the loss for the Rockets. The righthander allowed seven hits and seven runs over six innings, striking out one and walking zero.

Jasmine Sneed led Siegel with two hits in three at bats.

Williams went 1-for-3 at the plate to lead Rockvale in hits.
