Liberty’s Station Launches Partnership with Nash Family Creamery

This partnership unites two organizations with a mutual purpose to transform lives and work together to create and promote communities of strength, hope, and resilience.

The partnership was made possible thanks to Stephanie Nash, who heard about Liberty’s Station and wanted to support its mission in bettering the lives of others. She is a 4th generation dairy farmer in Chapel Hill,TN where her family has operated its business since 2014. Prior to their move to Tennessee, the family farm started in 1929 in central California.

Nash Family Creamery will offer their customers the opportunity to donate to Liberty’s Station’s cheese fund, by purchasing their inhouse made cheese. Nash Family Creamery will use these donations to supply Liberty’s Station with blocks of cheese that will be used to make signature grilled cheese sandwiches. Liberty’s Station is more than just a place to grab a delicious grilled cheese — it’s an experience. The café & event space is run by people with disabilities and other employment obstacles.

“We use the highest standards when caring for our animals. Cows are milked 3 times a day and housed in comfortable barns out of the weather elements. Quality feed is grown on our farm and mixed with other nutritious ingredients balanced by multiple nutritionists to ensure the herd is kept healthy. The end result is delicious and nutritious milk for Tennessee families to enjoy!” One day’s production for one of the ‘high-producing’ dairy cows yields; 4.8 pounds of butter, 8.7 gallons of ice cream or 10.5 pounds of cheese.

This partnership represents a step forward in supporting local farmers and the agriculture industry, the farms covering 10 million of our state’s acres. Farms/ farmers feed us, our state and the world! 97% are family-owned. And create over 19 million jobs or just over 10% of the U.S. employment. A grand total of 86% of all U.S. ag products are produced on a family farm. Never take for granted the early mornings, late nights, long cold & hot days that go into getting the food to your closest store.

Liberty’s Station is excited to collaborate with a local American farmer. We have an amazing country, state and community. While we’re working hard to improve our community, we want to support those IN our community and are excited to partner with the local Nash family!
