Local Law Firm Hosting Thanksgiving Donation Drive
The Law Offices of John Day, P.C., is excited to announce the firm will be hosting a Thanksgiving donation drive to gather necessities for The Journey Home from Monday, November 18, 2019, through Friday, November 22, 2019. Donations will be accepted at the firm’s offices in Brentwood (5141 Virginia Way #270, Brentwood, TN 37027) and Murfreesboro (1639 Medical Center Parkway #105, Murfreesboro, TN 37129) between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
In addition to hosting the drive, the firm will also be donating the Thanksgiving meal that The Journey Home serves annually. The drive and food donation are the most recent examples of John Day’s commitment to the communities in Middle Tennessee they serve and call home.
“Journey Home does a wonderful job of helping those experiencing homelessness in Murfreesboro,” said John Day. “We are honored to help them serve the community.”
John, his wife Joy, and their family will also be present at Journey Home helping serve Thanksgiving lunch. “We had so much fun last year we decided to volunteer again.”
The Journey Home requests donations of new socks, boxer shorts and hooded sweatshirts as part of the drive. These items will be used to provide and care for the people who are being assisted by the organization.
