Martha Anderson obituary
Mrs. Martha Ruth Frazier Anderson, age 90, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018. She was born in Illinois and spent her youth in Rockvale, TN. Mrs. Anderson worked at MTSU in the Industrial Arts and Aerospace Departments. She was very involved with the Rutherford County Democratric Women and the American Business Women’s Association. Mrs. Anderson also volunteered with Reach to Recovery with the Cancer Society. She enjoyed gardening, was an excellent seamtress, and an avid reader. Mrs. Anderson was a sports enthusiast of anything that was on TV. She was known to complete a March Madness bracket every year.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by four children, Betty Weaver, Suzanne Anderson, Debbie Cheek and her husband Timmy, Jay Anderson and his wife Debra all of Murfreesboro; eight grandchildren, Christopher Zumbro, Kelly Atwood, Jed Perryman and his wife Jennifer, Lindsay Green and her husband Jonny, Jared Anderson, Stan Sadler, Nancy Sadler, Emily Sadler; and five great-grandchildren, Johnny Atwood, Jacob Atwood, Torrence Green, Austin Green, and Douglas Perryman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Virgie Frazier, and husband of 70 years, TJ Anderson.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 11:30am until 12:30pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. There will be a graveside service for family only to follow at 1:00pm at Evergreen Cemetery.
