Mary Evelyn Harris Harrison Obituary
Mary Evelyn Harris Harrison passed away on Friday, January 31, 2020. She was born to Susan and Patrick Harris on December 6, 1982 in Decatur, Alabama and was raised in Murfreesboro, TN. Mary was a 2001 graduate of Oakland High School where she was valedictorian of her class. She was a graduate of MTSU, a proud United States Navy veteran, and was employed by State Farm Insurance Company in Murfreesboro.
In addition to her parents, Mary is survived by her sister Bess Harris Turner (Bryan) and nephews Robert Augustus Turner and Harris Patrick Turner who deeply loved their “Aunt Mev”, all of Murfreesboro.
She was a very talented artist and her creativity was recognized by all who loved her. Her laughter was incredible and her soul as sweet as her smile. She was a wonderful friend to many and she loved and cherished those friendships. Mary was a Christian who found comfort in her God. We find great comfort and joy knowing this is not “goodbye” but only a temporary separation. To God be the glory!

Visitation will be 4:00pm to 7:00pm Thursday, February 6 with a Celebration of Life to follow at 7:00pm all at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
