May 6 Grand Opening Ceremony for Murfreesboro Miracle Field

Project One Four, a David Price Foundation, and City of Murfreesboro will gather for an official Grand Opening ceremony for the Murfreesboro Miracle Field at Sports*Com in McKnight Park.

Who:           MLB star David Price and Project One Four Foundation, Bonnie Price, president of Project One Four, Murfreesboro Parks & Rec Department and Cityofficials including Mayor Shane McFarland.

What:          Grand Opening Ceremony to Include:

10:00 a.m. Ribbon Cutting

10:30 a.m. speakers followed by National theme sung by Hannah Mansfield

Miracle League participants will “play ball.”

When:        10:00 a.m. – Noon – 1:30 p.m. Sat., May 6, 2017.  (Media welcome)

9:00 a.m.-9:45  Registration for Media

12:00 Noon– Open to the Public

The Miracle Field itself includes a covered seating area, restroom building, and concession building.  Other features include a standard baseball/softball field, an open synthetic turf area, and an inclusive playground.  The complex also includes a main plaza with a central kugel ball water feature (the sphere is a representative of a baseball with David Price’s signature) and two donor walls.  Additionally, the complex includes picnic tables and benches throughout.
