MFRD Needs Your Help with Upcoming Blood Drive
MFRD and other city and county public safety agencies are participating in a large “Battle of the Badges” (Fire/EMS vs. Police) Blood Drive event in May.
In order to ensure that the American Red Cross has enough volunteers on hand to assist with the event, they have asked participating agencies to get commitments from potential donors in advance of the drive.
There will be a drive on the north end of the county and one on the south end.
Those interested in donating are urged to contact MFRD PIO Ashley McDonald at [email protected] by Friday, February 22. McDonald will need your name, phone number, email, and preferred time to donate between the hours of 11:00 am and 6:00 pm.
Fire/EMS and Police are both trying to shoot for 150 individuals donating for a total of 300 for the entire event.
