MFRD SHOWS OUT AT BBQ COMPETITION
Congratulations to Captain Nora Smith and Firefighter Sean Grandowicz who participated in the Breakfast Rotary Club’s Backyard BBQ Competition this weekend.
Sean placed third overall in the rib division and their team won ninth place in the Grand Championship Division and first place in the First Responder Division.
There were a total of 32 teams from area cities in the competition, and only a couple in the First Responder Division according to Smith.
“Sean was awesome and this was his first time to compete,” Smith said of Grandowicz.
