Middle Tennessee Electric Awards 10 Student Scholarships
Excelling in academics, leadership and community service has earned 10 students a $2,000 Gordon Bone Memorial SharingChange Scholarship. The scholarships help students from Middle Tennessee Electric (MTE) member homes cover expenses to attend a Tennessee two- or four-year accredited college or trade school.
SharingChange scholarships are funded by MTE members who add pennies each month to their electric bills as donations. The program honors Gordon Bone, longtime MTE board member and founder of the SharingChange foundation.
