MMC Foundation Donates Over $23,000 to Local Charities
Murfreesboro Medical Clinic’s (MMC) Employee Committee oversees fundraising events and donations for the MMC Foundation as part of its Hearts & Hands Program. Every year, MMC employees select local organizations that will benefit from the funds raised through the MMC Foundation. In 2022, MMC and its employees, in conjunction with the MMC Foundation, were proud to support three local charities through the Hearts & Hands Program. They were the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Center, Stepping Stones Safe Haven, and A Soldier’s Child Foundation.
“Murfreesboro Medical Clinic is passionate about community involvement and giving back to this wonderful community that has so richly blessed us,” noted Joey Peay, MMC’s CEO and Chairman of the MMC Foundation. He continued, “This is why the Hearts & Hands initiative was started about 20 years ago. The formation of the MMC Foundation in 2020 has heightened our ability to impact our community. Through our efforts in 2022, we were pleased to donate $7,685 to each of the three chosen charities chosen.”
