MPD announces the graduation of Sergeant from Northwestern School of Police and Staff Command

The Murfreesboro Police Department (MPD) is proud to announce the graduation of Sergeant Mark Wood from the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command.

The School of Police Staff and Command is an intensive management development program that instructs law enforcement managers on a variety of topics of study which include: Leadership and Management, Budgeting, Contemporary Policing, Employee Relations, Organizational Behavior, Statistics, Planning and Policy Development, and Resource Allocation.

Wood joins several other MPD command staff members who have graduated from the program and MPD anticipates a variety of benefits from Sergeant Wood’s participation in this program.
