MTE CEO Chris Jones Honored with House Resolution for Service on Nuclear Advisory Council
Middle Tennessee Electric (MTE) President and CEO Chris Jones was recognized with a surprise honor during the cooperative’s board meeting this morning. Tennessee District 46 Representative Clark Boyd presented Jones with a House Resolution commending his service on Governor Bill Lee’s Nuclear Advisory Council.
Jones represented electric utilities across the state on the council, contributing to Tennessee’s efforts to advance its role as a leader in the energy sector. The surprise recognition was coordinated with the help of Tennessee Electric Cooperative Association leaders Mike Knotts and Ryan King.
“Chris’s leadership and commitment have been instrumental in positioning Tennessee at the forefront of the energy industry,” Rep. Boyd said during the presentation.
