MTSU Career Development Center Offers Students and Alumni More Than You Might Think
The MTSU Career Development Center is helping students and alumni prepare for what comes next, whether that means finding an internship, landing a first job, changing careers or simply figuring out the right path.
We sat down with Beka Moore, Director of the Career Development Center, and Jenny Bryan, Assistant Director working with employer relations, to learn about the many resources available at MTSU.
Services include resume reviews, mock interviews, elevator pitch coaching, career exploration and even professional headshots. MTSU also operates a Career Closet where students can get professional clothing, shoes and accessories at no charge for interviews, career fairs, conferences and their first day on the job.
We also talk about MTSU's major Career Fair, which brings together roughly 150 to 200 employers and around 2,100 students. The fair is open to both current students and MTSU alumni, with employers offering paid internships and full-time opportunities.
