MTSU Creamery Debut Ceremony June 21 ushers in milk bottling process

Who: MTSU School of Agribusiness and Agriscience students, faculty and staff; other university administrators and dairy/agricultural industry partners 

What: Debut Ceremony for MTSU Creamery (announcement is open to the public)

When: 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 21

Where: MTSU Science Building Liz and Creighton Rhea Atrium, 440 Friendship St., Murfreesboro, TN 37132 (http://tinyurl.com/MTSUParkingMap); reserve parking is available in Davis Science Building lot off Friendship Street. 

Why: MTSU’s student-run dairy at the farm in Lascassas, Tennessee, and dairy processing unit in the Stark Ag Center on campus will resume the bottling of chocolate and white milk for sale to students and visitors on campus and to the public off campus in the near future. Students gain tremendous hands-on experience running these operations, thus gaining an edge in the job market.
