To kick off the season, the team is hosting Treats and Hoops trick or treat event starting at 5:30 p.m., just before the game.

“Since our game is taking place just before Halloween, we thought it would be perfect to let kids dress up in their favorite costumes and trick or treat in the historic Murphy Center,” said Chelsea Floyd, associate athletic director of marketing, fan engagement and licensing.

Local businesses, student organizations and MTSU departments will set up tables along the concourse in Murphy Center to hand out candy.

“We’re super excited to tip off the women’s basketball season with a fantastic community engagement event for our little Blue Raiders,” Floyd said.

Admission to the game and trick-or-treating is complimentary to costumed fans age 17 and younger. For those who need to purchase tickets, visit https://am.ticketmaster.com/mtsu/buy#/.
