Murfreesboro AAU Basketball Team Wins National Championship
The Murfreesboro Force 2K21 Girls are the 2017 AAU Division 2 National Champions after defeating PA Undisputed TNT from Menlo Park, California, 59-39.
Twenty-six teams from around the country competed for this coveted spot. Games were held at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida.
Force is made up mostly of girls from Rutherford County with a few from Williamson, Moore and Sumner counties. The team is based in Murfreesboro at Hoops Mechanic U.S. Highway 41. The team has played all over Tennessee and neighboring states in preparation for this achievement.
