Murfreesboro Medical Clinic’s Comprehensive Breast Center Hosts Event: Stronger TogetHER
Murfreesboro Medical Clinic (MMC) believes strength develops when all resources in a community are
combined to best accompany patients towards health. During the month of October, breast cancer
patients are especially recognized. The journey tied to breast cancer is why MMC created the Comprehensive Breast Center 9 years ago.
The Comprehensive Breast Center is comprised of 8 skilled physicians who specialize in either Radiology,
General Surgery or Plastic Surgery. These physicians include: David A. Beaird, M.D. (General Surgery),
James T. Carter, M.D. (General Surgery), Andrew E. Fong, M.D. (Radiology), Shawn L. Horwitiz, D.O.,
(General Surgery), Brad Medling, M.D. (Plastic Surgery), Paul Pasarilla, M.D. , (General Surgery), Sadhish K. Siva, M.D. (Radiology), Lisa White, M.D. (General Surgery). In order to connect the community to this set of resources, MMC’s Comprehensive Breast Center is hosting an event, “Stronger TogetHER,” Thursday, October 12 th from 5:30pm – 7:30pm.
The festivities of Stronger TogetHER will include FREE prizes, live entertainment, refreshments, and
knowledge on topics such as lifesaving early detection, 3D mammography tours, an expert Q & A panel, and survivor testimonials. From detection to restoration, it is the MMC Comprehensive Breast Center’s promise to walk hand in hand with every patient through each individual’s health journey.
