Murfreesboro Saturday Market opens 16th year on May 2 in Historic Downtown Murfreesboro
Main Street Murfreesboro is excited to announce that the 16th annual Murfreesboro Saturday Market begins May 2, around the Historic Rutherford County Courthouse from 8:00 am to Noon. The market will continue every Saturday through October.
The Murfreesboro Saturday Market features locally grown produce, locally raised beef, poultry, and pork, fresh eggs, and baked goods from local bakers. We also have area artisans and crafters at the market and feature local musicians each Saturday. The market is full and is no longer accepting new vendors for the 2026 season.

There are 94 vendors lined up for the 2026 season, and 73 vendor spots each Saturday. Every Friday, an updated map of vendors for that week’s market will be posted on social media at @Murfreesboro Saturday Market (Instagram and Facebook). You can also find the updated map on www.mainstreetmurfreesboro.
This year, the Murfreesboro Saturday Market is participating in the first-ever “Tennessee Farmers Market Trail,” made possible by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Launching May 16th, visitors to the farmer’s market will be able to scan a QR code to enter to win prizes and receive free merchandise from the trail project, which was created to promote the many local farmer’s markets throughout middle Tennessee. Visitors are encouraged to experience farmers’ markets throughout the region and support local farmers while exploring surrounding communities. Follow along on Instagram and Facebook for TN Farmers Market Trail-related posts: @tnlocalfood and @tnfarmersmarkettrail.
The Murfreesboro Saturday Market is bringing back the customer loyalty cards. Stop by the Information tent on the West side of the courthouse to receive your monthly card. After getting three stamps (three visits a month) customers are entered to win a monthly drawing of vendor gift cards. New loyalty cards are given out each month.
Attendees at the market are encouraged to park in the two downtown parking garages at the Murfreesboro Civic Plaza, off Vine and Church Street, and the Rutherford County Judicial parking garage, off Maple Street. Parking downtown is unlimited and free on weekends. Handicap parking spaces are available around the public square. Friendly dogs are welcome at the market, but please be respectful of the large crowds.
