Myrtle Harvey Ingram obituary

Myrtle Harvey Ingram, age 97, passed away peacefully on Friday June 28, 2019 with her family by her side.

Myrtle was born May 24,1922 in Lawrenceburg, TN to Robert Harvey Beckham and Addie Myrtle Wells Beckham.

She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Eugene Ingram, daughter Lynda Gene White, son, William Richard Ingram and grandsons, David Ray White and Stephen Glenn White.She was also preceded on death by five siblings.

She is survived by Son, Jerry Kenneth Ingram and wife Debbie; granddaughters, Deborah Garrett and husband Jeff, Donna Melton and husband Todd, Amber Ingram, Lisa Sheroane and husband Steve , Amy Peterson and husband Jason, Lori Roth and husband Randy, Tiffany Anthony and husband Henry, Sarah White Bagby; nineteen great-grandchildren and five great-great- grandchildren. daughters-in-law, Linda Ingram, Gaytha Spain.

Myrtle retired from McLellan Department store in Nashville where she worked as a sales supervisor. She and Elmer were members of Antioch First Baptist Church and also members of the National Campers and Hikers Association.

Lovingly referred to as Mammaw by her family and friends, she was an extremely accomplished seamstress, avid gardener and skilled artist. She was an integral part of many wonderful memories with her family and will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation will be Sunday 1:00PM until 5:00PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 1:00PM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother Houston Austin will officiate. Graveside service will be 3:30PM Monday at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville. www.woodfinchapel.com
