North Idaho Law Enforcement Agencies Seek Information regarding Homicide Victim with Ties to Murfreesboro

The body of a woman who went missing from Bonner County, Idaho in 2014 was recovered in a remote and wooded area of Kootenai County, Idaho. Kootenai and Bonner Counties are neighboring counties in North Idaho.

In February of 2016, the remains of Christine Lott, who was reported missing on March 27, 2004, were discovered near a Forest Service Road in an area near Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. This case is being investigated as a homicide in a cooperative effort with the Bonner County Sheriff’s Office and Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office. Any persons who may have had contact with the Lott family in the 2004 time period or information regarding this investigation are strongly encouraged to contact Major Crimes Detective Jerry Northrup with the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office at (208)446- 1351 or by using our anonymous tip form on our website under the “Contact” tab at kcsheriff.com.
