North Idaho Law Enforcement Agencies Seek Information regarding Homicide Victim with Ties to Murfreesboro

The body of a woman who went missing from Bonner County, Idaho in 2014 was recovered in a remote and wooded area of Kootenai County, Idaho. Kootenai and Bonner Counties are neighboring counties in North Idaho.

In February of 2016, the remains of Christine Lott, who was reported missing on March 27, 2004, were discovered near a Forest Service Road in an area near Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The news of her discovery was kept confidential until her husband, Stephen Lott, a Murfreesboro, Tennessee resident, could be located and interviewed by Kootenai County Sheriff’s Detectives.

This case is being investigated as a homicide in a cooperative effort with the Bonner County Sheriff’s Office and Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office.
