Oakland Middle School celebrates new seventh-grade annex
Rutherford County Schools and other county leaders celebrated a new addition to Oakland Middle School on Sunday, Jan. 13, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tour.
Parents, students, teachers and administrators were on hand to lead the tour of the new facility, which consists of nearly 70,000 square feet, 25 new classrooms, a new gym, administrative area and cafeteria serving line. The new annex cost $13.5 million and will house the school’s seventh grade.
