Police identify victim, suspect in Tinnell Court homicide

Murfreesboro Police Department Violent Crimes Unit detectives have identified the victim and suspect in the death of a woman found at a home on Tinnell Court on Thursday.

The victim is Hannah Jackson, 26, of Murfreesboro.

The suspect, David Ivy, 27, was arrested and charged with first-degree homicide, unlawful possession of a weapon while committing a dangerous felony and especially aggravated burglary.

Ivy is being held on $700,000 bond at Rutherford County Adult Detention Center. A hearing is set June 22 in General Sessions Court.
