Randy Hobbs Obituary

Mr. Randy Wayne Hobbs, age 65, of Tullahoma, TN received his well-deserved rewards from his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 18, 2024. He fought valiantly to be here to serve his Lord but clearly understood that in death he would gain the ultimate life. We are confident that Randy is now enjoying a reunion with his parents, Ellen and Hermon Hobbs; siblings, Rusty Morgan-Hobbs and Cathy Watson; and nephew, Andy “Chachi” Williams as well as many more family and friends who arrived in heaven before him.

Randy is survived by his beloved sister Karen Williams and her husband Greg; sister-in-law, Colleen Morgan-Hobbs; and brother-in-law, Bill Watson. He was the world’s best uncle to Nick, Mario, Tony, Sean, Andy, Heather (Daniel), Sabrina, Amanda (Alex), Koby, Timmy, Ervan, Cayden, Jayde, Seth, Serenity, Liam, Eli, DaKota, Emerald and Nova.

Randy was born on July 25, 1958 in Miami, Florida. He graduated from Killian High School and then completed a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Florida. He was a lifelong Florida Gator Fan.

Upon graduation, Randy took a position working as an engineer at the wind tunnel on Arnold Airforce Base in Tullahoma. This became a lifelong position for him. While he retired recently, he continued to work as needed.

Randy was a member of North Boulevard Church of Christ in Murfreesboro, TN. His love and generosity towards his fellow members are legendary. He was on many mission trips over the years and was a big part of the church youth group. His impact on the church youth cannot be overstated. He touched an amazing number of young people’s lives. Randy never had children of his own, but he has left a Legacy in the young members of North Boulevard Church of Christ.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, January 25, 2024 4:00pm to 8:00pm and Saturday January 26, 2024 11:00am to 12:00pm at the North Boulevard Church of Christ. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 2024 at 12:00pm at the North Boulevard Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
