Read to Succeed is a nonprofit based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, working to improve literacy across Rutherford County through free programs for adults, families, and children. It offers adult literacy one-on-one tutoring, GED/HiSET preparation, English-as-a-Second-Language instruction, and support for writing, financial literacy, and job-prep skills. For young learners, Read to Succeed runs family literacy programs, preschool preparations, school-partnership initiatives, and reading events to engage parents as well as children. The organization is volunteer-driven, relying on trained tutors, community partnerships, and grants; its mission is to “improve lives… through free literacy programs and events.”
