Redstone Federal CU Shows Appreciation to First Responders

Redstone Federal Credit Union honored the Murfreesboro community’s first responders with a special meal and appreciation gift on Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 11am to 2pm, at its 2404 Medical Center Parkway office.

Jonathan Kirby, Redstone’s Vice President of Security and Investigations, said the annual luncheon is one of Redstone’s favorite events and shows appreciation for those who sacrifice their lives each day.

“We get the opportunity to say, ‘thank you’ to these brave men and women who put themselves in dangerous situations each day to keep our communities as safe as possible and help us in our time of need,’’ said Kirby.

“This is also an opportunity for them to relax and fellowship with one another. They interact with each other often, but under different circumstances,’’ he added.

About 250 meals were served. Redstone’s Murfreesboro office kicked off its first appreciation luncheon in 2021. Agencies from throughout Rutherford County were invited.
