Robbie Smotherman Trapp obituary

Robbie Smotherman Trapp, age 94 of Woodbury, Tennessee died Sunday, January 30, 2022. She was a native of the Link Community in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Frazier and Debbie Smotherman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W.R. “Bill” Trapp; a granddaughter, Andrea Nance and nine brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her children, Gayle Nance and husband Jim, Ron Trapp and wife Deb, and Lesia Cooper and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Trisha Zaluski and husband Mark, Greg Nance and wife Trena, Jeni Dowdy, Michelle Belsaas, John Trapp, Justin Cooper, Jared Cooper and wife Kaitlyn, Jillian Cooper; twelve great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; a special niece, Joyce Fjelstad; several other nieces, nephews and a host of other loving family and friends.

Mrs. Trapp was a homemaker and a member of Barfield Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Friday, February 4, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of funeral services beginning at 2:30 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with family serving as pallbearers.
