Roy Lee Boling obituary

Roy Lee Boling, age 69 of Smyrna died January 25, 2019. He was a native of Knox County and was preceded in death by his father, Shade Boling; sister, Mattie Melissa Boling. Mr. Boling was a Veteran of the United States Army serving in the Vietnam Conflict and was a member of the Green Berets. He was a former manager with Sonic.

Mr. Boling is survived by his mother, Wilma Boling; children, Wendy Clay and husband Gene, Niki Stutts and husband Michael, Roy Boling and fiancé Jacquelynn, SFC David Boling and wife Tori; 14 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren; brother, William Kent Boling and Kimberly; sister, Annie Lucille Boling.

Visitation will be 3PM till 5PM Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral service 5PM Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Graveside service will be 9AM Thursday at Middle Tennessee State Veteran Cemetery in Pegram. www.woodfinchapel.com
