RUTHERFORD Cable Breakfast Meeting Oct 9th Nicole Provonchee

When it comes to getting what you want, you are your own best advocate. If you are waiting for your boss to recognize your great work and give you the title and raise you deserve, you will probably be waiting a really, long time. Provonchee’s talk will give you the tools and skills you need to be a better advocate for the most important person in the room: You!

The RUTHERFORD Cable monthly meeting is at Stones River Country Club, 1830 N.W. Broad St. in Murfreesboro. RUTHERFORD Cable members and guests are welcome, and the public is invited to attend. The cost for the meeting is $20 for members and $25 for non-members and includes breakfast. Reservations are required and can be made online at www.rutherfordcable.org. Reservations must be made by Noon on Friday, October 5. A limited number of seats will be available for walk-ups on a first-come, first-serve basis with an additional $5 late-registration fee.

Provonchee will be speak about how to determine your market value and ask for the raise, promotion or the title change you want. Learn the best time to ask for a raise and how to address the most common obstacles to salary negotiations. “You are your own best advocate. And, cold-hard truth here: If you don’t do it, no one else will either,” Provonchee noted.

About Nicole Provonchee
Nicole is an experienced business leader and executive coach with over 20 years in strategy, consulting, business development, communication and marketing roles, including 14 years in the healthcare industry. She is the founder of Bright Blue Consulting, a Nashville-based organization that offers executive coaching, leadership training, facilitation and strategic planning services to companies ranging from small start-ups to Fortune 100 corporations. Nicole holds an MBA with a concentration in strategy from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where she founded the school’s first MBA association for women. She has a BA in English from Birmingham-Southern College. She holds an executive coaching certification from the Center for Executive Coaching and has experience in a variety of coaching methods. Residing in Nashville, Tennessee with her two young sons and architect husband, Nicole is committed to causes advocating children and women’s rights, including currently serving on the Mayor’s Parent Cabinet for Nashville Metro Schools and a former Board Chair for Our Kids. Nicole is also a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
