Rutherford County Health Department announces changes to COVID-19 Testing & Vaccination Location

Rutherford County Health Department will be changing its vaccination and testing site beginning Monday, June 28. The COVID-19 vaccination site will be moving from State Farm Operations back to the Rutherford County Health Department located at 100 West Burton Street Murfreesboro, TN 37133.

Beginning Monday, June 28, COVID-19 vaccinations will take place in the rear conference room Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. COVID testing will also take place at the Rutherford County Health Department in the rear parking lot. Drive-up testing is by appointment only on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. To schedule an appointment, call 615-898-7880. Additionally, self-test kits can be picked up Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

“In an ongoing effort to maximize outreach and access, Rutherford County Health Department will continue to work with members of churches, community groups, community events, facilities, and businesses to bring COVID-19 vaccinations to offsite locations,” said Public Health Department Director LaShan Dixon. “Working together, we can provide the COVID-19 vaccine to those who need it most.”
