Search Warrant Ends in Drug Arrest

One man was arrested after La Vergne Narcotics and Detectives executed a search warrant along with the La Vergne Swat team at a home on Sunrise Avenue Friday night.

Detectives located approximately 1.25 ounces of cocaine, approximately 1 pound of marijuana and approximately $9,500 in cash in the house.

39-year-old Michael Watts was taken into custody.

Watts is charged with Felony Possession of Schedule II, Schedule VI, Maintaining a Dwelling for the Use of Sale of Controlled Substances and Drug Paraphernalia.

He was booked at 12:15 a.m. Saturday at the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office. His bond was set at $16,000.
