Siegel’s Madison Whitworth Earns Naval Academy Appointment

Madison Whitworth has received an appointment to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. This year, Madison was one of about 18,000 students from throughout the nation who applied for one of the approximately 1,100 appointments to the Naval Academy’s Class of 2027. After a rigorous admissions process, Whitworth’s appointment is equivalent to a full four-year scholarship valued at close to $430,000. While at Siegel High School, Madison was selected homecoming and prom queen by her peers, was senior captain for the soccer team, was student body spirit leader, excelled at HOSA state convention, and participated in multiple academic clubs and student council.
