Town of Smyrna to Host a Grand Opening for Zama Park

The Town of Smyrna is pleased to host a grand opening for Zama Park. This pocket park honors the relationship with our Sister City, Zama, Japan, and the educational, social, cultural, and business exchanges between our communities for over 30 years.

Smyrna Parks and Recreation Director Mike Moss will serve as the emcee, with Mayor Mary Esther Reed and Consul-General of Japan in Nashville Kayoko Fukushima offering comments.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this is an invitation only event. The Town of Smyrna remains committed to adhering to recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Governor Lee’s Tennessee Pledge. Modifications are in place to maintain the health and safety of those in attendance.
