The Town of Smyrna’s Christmas Parade returns December 5, 2021

The 46th annual Town of Smyrna Christmas Parade and Food Drive will be held Sunday, December 5, 2021, at 2pm.

Spectators will gather along the parade route to watch floats, bands, classic cars, dancers, and Santa and Mrs. Claus as they travel northbound on Lowry Street toward Sam Ridley Parkway.

Additionally, parade organizers invite you to make a difference in our community by donating to our Christmas Parade Food Drive. Town personnel will collect non-perishable food items from spectators along the route and participants at check-in.

“We believe in neighbor helping neighbor, and we believe that no family in our community should experience food insecurity,” explained Smyrna Mayor Mary Esther Reed. “We invite those who participate in our parade and those who are spectators to help us shatter our previous record of 82,384 items collected to benefit Nourish Food Bank.”

The Town is accepting applications for entry in this year’s parade. Organizations wishing to participate may complete the application online or in person at Smyrna Town Hall. For detailed information and instructions, visit www.townofsmyrna.org, or call 615-267-5008.
