Special Kids Hosts “Virtual” Banquet

Special Kids Therapy & Nursing Center will make history for their organization the night of Thursday, September 3 as they host their first-ever “virtual banquet” with the help of countless supporters, donors and other community partners. Hundreds of tickets have been sold for the online event with several sponsors also showing their support during a critical moment of fundraising as a challenging season for the non-profit continues.

Belle Aire Baptist Church (1307 N Rutherford Boulevard, Murfreesboro, TN) will host the “program” portion of the banquet beginning at 6 PM. Guests that have purchased tickets have all been provided links via email to access the live broadcast hosted by YouTube. Those that log on for the hour-long program will get to enjoy an interview with banquet speaker and Special Kids supporter Lee Golden, along with an introduction of the featured child for the 2020-2021 season and interactive activities for the at-home audience. Special Kids Director of Therapy, Cameron Campbell, and Director of Nursing, Stephanie Gannar, will host the discussion with Mr. Golden.

Guests that have “opted in” for the dinner portion of the banquet are invited to pick up their meal from 4 – 5:30 PM from the Belle Aire campus, before the program begins. Dinners have been graciously donated by headlining sponsor Chick-fil-A of Murfreesboro.

Several other community partners and sponsors of the event (see full list below) have donated items for the online auction portion of the banquet on top of their financial support. Online bidding has been open through the HandBid website and app since Monday (8/31), and will continue through 8 PM on Thursday (9/3). Those that win their item in the auction will be able to pick up their prize at the Special Kids campus on Friday (9/4).
