State House Candidate Gabriel Fancher Announces Endorsements From Rutherford County Leaders
Rutherford County Schools teacher and candidate for State House, Gabriel Fancher, announced the endorsements of several key business and community leaders throughout Rutherford County. Including Rockvale businessman Jim Thompson, County Commissioners Virgil Gammon and David Gammon and Eagleville Mayor and Vice Mayor, Chad Leeman and Bill Tollett.
Virgil Gammon and David Gammon are longtime veterans of law enforcement and have each served on the Rutherford County Commission for four years.
“Rutherford County needs to send Gabriel Fancher to represent us in Nashville. I’m confident he will be a strong voice for law enforcement. I know he will be able to work with people to achieve the results we need here in Rutherford County," stated Commissioner Virgil Gammon.
Commissioner David Gammon echoed his comments and also said, “Gabriel will be a fantastic voice for the people of LaVergne and Rutherford County. I know him as a conservative family man who will work well with other state leaders to produce results for Rutherford County.”
Longtime Rockvale resident and businessman Jim Thompson endorsed Fancher and encouraged District 13 to support him by saying , “Gabriel has the knowledge, energy, desire, and commitment to represent the 13th district. He is a natural giver of his talents!”
Eagleville Mayor Chad Leeman joined others in supporting Fancher and said, “Gabriel is an educator, father, and conservative who deserves our support. He shares our fundamental conservative values and will fight hard for the people of Eagleville and Rutherford County.”
Eagleville Vice Mayor Bill Tollett, former principal of Eagleville School and owner of Coach T’s All American Grill in Eagleville stated, “I’m a retired educator of more than 30 years and a small business owner. I’m supporting Gabriel because we finally need to send someone who has experience in the classroom to the State House. He will support our small businesses and work hard to represent the diverse needs of District 13. Please join me in supporting Gabriel Fancher in the Republican Primary on August 4th.”
Fancher stated, “I’ve been fortunate to have the support and trust from leaders across District 13. I’m asking for your vote to help me win this election and serve you and your family.”
Fancher was an English teacher at Holloway High School in Murfreesboro before signing on to be an Economics teacher at Rockvale High School this coming fall.. He has been a teacher since 2008 where he first served as an adjunct faculty member at several local colleges before becoming a public school teacher in 2020. Fancher is a former Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce diplomat and a 2020 graduate of Leadership Rutherford. He previously served as chairman of the Rutherford County Young Republicans and secretary of the Rutherford County Republican Party. He currently coaches his daughter’s soccer team for the Murfreesboro Soccer Club and has coached boys and girls basketball with One Goal Sports. Gabriel and his wife Chelsea have seven children in their blended family.
