Tijuana Flats on Veterans Parkway Closes

Residents near Veterans Parkway and the new Publix shopping center off 840 may have noticed a sudden change with Tijuana Flats as they have officially closed its doors.

While the exact reason for the shutdown hasn’t been confirmed, there is good news for fans of the Tex-Mex spot. Sources close to the situation have confirmed that the restaurant has been sold to new owners, who plan to complete interior remodeling before reopening.

Renovations are expected to take approximately 3–4 months, placing the reopening sometime later this year. Patrons can expect the same concept and menu style but with a refreshed interior and management team.

Despite the temporary shutdown, the restaurant will continue operating as Tijuana Flats once renovations are complete.

As updates become available, we’ll continue to share what’s next for this popular local spot. For now, bundle up – it’s cold out there – and keep an eye out for the revamped Tijuana Flats reopening soon on Veterans Parkway.
