Topre America Corporation Continues to Grow

Topre America Corporation, a major automotive stamping supplier, continues to reinvest in its Smyrna manufacturing plant by adding 51 new jobs and a $63 million capital investment. Today’s announcement includes Topre’s fourth expansion in Rutherford County since 2015.

“Topre America appreciates the ongoing partnership with the Town of Smyrna and the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce,” added Brad Pepper, senior vice president with Topre America. “The fact that the Smyrna delegation traveled to Japan to meet with our parent company was a testament to the town leaders’ dedication to its existing industries.”

Today’s announcement falls on the heels of a 40,000-square-foot addition with a $38.2 million investment within the past year.

“The Town of Smyrna is grateful for the continued investment Topre America is making to bring quality employment opportunities to our community,” noted Smyrna Mayor Mary Esther Reed. “We value our partnership and look forward to supporting this growth.”

The Rutherford County Industrial Development Board’s vote of approval will result in 51 new jobs in advanced manufacturing. The expansion will be completed next year and will include a new press shop with additional cold stamping equipment.

“We are pleased that Rutherford County continues to attract not only new companies, but also help existing organizations grow,” said Destination Rutherford Chairman Bill Jones. “Topre America’s choice to continuously reinvest in our county is testament to the stable and qualified workforce we offer, with an unbeatable quality of life for its employees.”
