TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center is Celebrating American Heart Month and Go Red for Women by Lighting the Hospital Red

TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center will join the American Heart Association to raise awareness about women and heart disease by lighting the hospital red tonight, February 1, 2021.

Tristar StoneCrest Medical Center is kicking off American Heart Month by turning the facility red because heart disease and stroke cause 1 in 3 deaths among women each year, killing approximately one woman every 80 seconds. Fortunately, we have the power to change that because 80 percent of cardiac and stroke events may be prevented with education and action. Yet only 1 in 5 women believe heart disease is their greatest health threat. (Source: AHA)
