Troy Massey obituary
Troy Massey, age 20 of Murfreesboro, died Thursday, July 19, 2018. He was born in Nashville and was a 2016 graduate of Blackman High School. Troy loved his family, friends, and his loyal companion and protector Daisy. He enjoyed trips to the beach, Alabama football, and laughing as loud as he could.
Troy is survived by his parents, Tommy and Angela Massey; a brother, Tucker Cole Massey; maternal grandmother, Margaret Lamb; paternal grandmother, Gail Massey; and an aunt, Andrea Lamb, as well as a host of other loving family and friends. Troy was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Troy Massey and maternal grandfather, Billy Lamb.
Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. and again one hour prior to funeral services at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Chaplains Patricia Todd and Joel Reynolds officiating. Private burial will be in Walker’s Cemetery in Paris, Tennessee with James Abbott, Doug Arrington, Joe Batey, Dennis Mabry, Allen McDougal and Tucker Massey serving as pallbearers.
