Two Unrelated Shootings on July 9, 2020
SHOOTING #1
MPD responded to a shooting in the 1500 Blk. of NE Broad around 7:42 p.m. 7/9/20. Possible road rage incident. One person shot in leg, taken to hospital. Suspect vehicle is a blue Dodge Ram 4-door with W. Virginia license plate. Call Det. James Abbott (629) 201-5523

SHOOTING #2
MPD officers were dispatched to a a separate shooting on Maylon Dr. around 7:45 p.m. 7/9/20. One person shot and taken to hospital after an altercation with a group of people in the back yard of a home. Police are looking for the suspect who left scene. Shooting under investigation.
UPDATE: The male shooting victim in the Maylon Dr. shooting was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Officers still searching the the shooter.
