update on missing boy

Locating a missing Riverdale High School student is of “utmost importance” to the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office, said Chief Deputy Keith Lowery.

Devin Bond, 16, was reported missing Friday afternoon.

The search for Devin has been a coordinated effort with the Sheriff’s Office and Murfreesboro Police’s K-9s and the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s helicopter.

Detective Randy Groce is following all leads while the School Resource Officers are monitoring social media and talking to students.

“We will continue to search diligently,” Lowery said. “The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office joins the family in finding Devin. We are asking for prayers in locating Devin.”

Groce said any leads or information about Devin’s location are appreciated. People may call Groce at 615-904-3049 or the Sheriff’s Communications at 615-898-7770.
