William Hatton obituary

William “Paul” Hatton, age 63 of Murfreesboro died Sunday November 11, 2018. Mr. Hatton was a native of Garden City, MI and was the son of the late; William Paul Hatton, Sr. and Barbara Hatton.

Mr. Hatton is survived by his wife of 43years, Nancy Schloot Hatton; son, William Paul Hatton, III and wife Heather of Murfreesboro; daughter, Emily Hanks and husband Jesse of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Reid, Rylan, Maddie; sisters, Julie Wilkinson and husband George of Michigan, Rhonda Whitlow of Michigan; brother, Brian Hatton and wife Emily of White House.

The greatest joy in his life was his family, especially his grandchildren who called him “G”. He had a special smile just for them. He was a member of North Boulevard Church of Christ where he was head of security and took pride in keeping all the children safe. His love of cars is threaded through his entire life. He loved owning and running Hatton Automotive with his son, Paul III, and the special bond he had with his daughter, Emily. Paul and Nancy loved to travel together riding motorcycles, camping, and taking trips with their family. Nancy and her children would like to thank their church families for all their support and prayers. Donations may be made to NBCC Children’s Ministry or Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro.

Visitation will be 4:00PM until 7:00PM Tuesday at North Blvd Church of Christ. Funeral service will be 1:00PM Wednesday at North Blvd Church of Christ. David Young will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. www.woodfinchapel.com
