1 seriously injured in Murfreesboro shooting
One person was seriously injured in a shooting in Murfreesboro early Friday morning.
According to a police report, the victim was found lying in a yard with multiple gunshot wounds near Russell Drive around 2:30 a.m.
The victim told officers he was shot by a group of men who approached and began firing. He was hit at least one time and transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.
His identity has not been released. Further details weren’t immediately known.
