2020 Special Kids Race is March 7
The 9th Annual Special Kids race is less than two weeks away. On Saturday, March 7,2020, at Murfreesboro Medical Clinic (MMC), Special Kids is hosting a 15K, 10K, 5K and one-mile family fun run.
Runners and walkers will have the opportunity to participate in one of four race distances on-site: 15K, 10K, 5K or one-mile family fun run. The event welcomes all levels of participants and encourages the whole family to get involved. Race fees are $60 for the 15K, $55 for the 10K, $50 for the 5K and $25 for the one-mile family fun run. A “Virtual Runner” option is also available for $30 if a participant would still like to be involved but cannot attend on the actual race day. Ellie is this year’s Impact Special Kids partner for the 9th annual Special Kids Race. Joy exudes from Ellie when you’re in her presence. She is silly, sweet, funny, loving, and happy. Ellie’s positive demeanor no doubt has gotten her to where she is today as she has beaten the odds the medical community initially gave her. Beyond entrance to the event, 15K, 10K and 5K race participants will receive a quarter-zip pullover, race medal and additional race swag from MMC and partners. 1-Mile Fun Run participants will receive a soft-style t-shirt and race medal. For the ninth year, all race expenses are covered by sponsors, allowing funds from registration fees to directly benefit children with special needs at Special Kids.

Special Kids is a Christian therapy and nursing center for children with special needs.
